Descrição
Management of the consignment storage contract in different locations in the region;
Support for the company's strategic activities, import and export abroad with freight forwarders;
Managing and ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of customs processes in accordance with the country's legislation;
Overseeing the effective handling of inventory and dead stock management to fulfil; Global KPI's, including reporting.
Establish good business relationships with internal and external customers, meeting deadlines and operational targets;
Ensure that cost savings and commercial opportunities are utilised;
Develop best practice processes, evaluating, improving, implementing and managing all procurement initiatives, promoting the benefits of good procurement practice;
Negotiate with vendor representatives to establish new sources, products and purchasing methods, assisting with supply problems, specification variation and pricing issues, ultimately ensuring the availability of spare parts;
Monitoring the company's purchasing activities, implementing KPIs, identifying improvements and needs;
Lead the optimisation of purchasing processes, inventory management, operational supplier management supplier management to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, as well as supplier reliability;
Evaluating all purchase orders to ensure that order quantities are the most cost-effective;
Ensuring that PSL/supplier management is in line and aligned with KAG's purchasing strategy. of KAG;
Controlling procurement expenditure and ensuring optimal payment terms and favourable service level agreements for the local subsidiary;
Favourable service level agreements for the local subsidiary;
Optimisation to achieve annual cost reduction targets through effective management;
Evaluate all PO’s to ensure order quantities are the most cost effective;
Ensure PSL/Vendor management is in accordance and aligned to KAG’s procurement strategy.
Manage local manufacturing and quality of equipment and components activities;
Control over procurement spend and ensuring optimal payment terms and favorable Service Level Agreements for the local subsidiary;
Responsibility in attaining required BBBEE procurement vendor targets.
Requisitos
Degree in Business Administration/Commerce or Supply Chain Management;
At least 8 years' experience in the role;
Experience in the food, beverage or packaging industry; Supply chain management;
Expertise in MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
Knowledge of SAP software;
Knowledge of import and export processes;
Knowledge of business administration;
Laws, directives, guidelines and standards;
General social skills;
Ability to work as part of a team.
