Human Resources
RECRUITMENT:
 Coordinate recruiting processes, interviews and recruiting events for the office, seeking for continuous improvement;
 Participate in strategic planning; manage budget; reporting;
 Plan, coordinate, and further develop local interview process: screen applications, manage interviews, moderate decision meetings, drive candidate conversion process (full time hires and Visiting Associates);
 Manage the recruiting steering team and develop interviewer team;
 Report on key recruitment figures;
Global policies and best practice:
 Adapt and implement global and regional HR policies in the local market;

HR DEVELOPMENT:
 Lead HR project e.g. contract review, employee handbook, new onboarding.

OPERATIONAL HR:
 Onboarding: Ensure smooth transition of new hires and internal transfers, deliver orientation and benefit trainings and coordinate/work with internal resources in on-boarding and integration process;
 Off boarding: Lead smooth and proper off-boarding of leavers
 Work closely with multiple stakeholders and line managers to address a variety of human resource related topics and keeping the HR systems updated with relevant employee information;
 Monitor employee well-being and taken corrective actions when appropriate
 Handle the local office's HR legal requests including the day-to-day execution and handling of documents such as contracts, amendments as well as other employee related documents.

MOBILITY:
Staff Mobility Coordination:
 Act as first point of contact to the global Mobility teams
 Manage local and international Cross Office Staffing requests and Office transfers (permanent and temporary: Ambassador program/Africa Pioneer program);
 Ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders involved: Finance, Africa HR, Partners, Global Mobility, etc.

OFFICE COORDINATION:
Coordination of office processes and support staff:
 Develop of office processes, policies and culture in close collaboration with company partners and global functions, e.g. confidentiality and risk management
 Organize, develop and implement processes within support services: travel services, event management, assistant support, general business services (reception, mail, supplies, purchasing);
 Manage HR and administrative staff, including HR assistant, EAs, external, etc;
 Ensure local implementation of Africa initiatives
 Develop and implement of methods to ensure smooth collaboration between business services team and consulting staff;
 Support business objectives by building relevant working relationships to facilitate communication Facility management, lease and landlord relations;
 Coordinate and monitor of all facility management and maintenance processes;
 Develop and implement methods to optimize internal services
 Coordinate any office design/expansion/renovation/relocation
 Support and participate in lease negotiations incl. communication with legal advisors as well as monitoring of rental agreements and collaboration with the landlord;

Vendor management, cost controlling and finance:
 Manage suppliers and service providers, including conducting negotiations, concluding agreements, ordering and handling complaints;
 Budget and cost control in the area of operations in cooperation with the Finance;
 Cooperate with the Finance team on processes, accounting matters, budget phase etc through financial year;
 Monitor of rental agreements and collaboration with landlords Office liaison and communication;
 Communicate to staff on company policies and practices and current professionally and efficiently;
 Act as contact person for internal company affairs, coordination and collaboration with other company offices;
 Communicate internally to staff and company members on important events, company policies and practices as well as other relevant matters.

Aptidões necessárias

Bachelor/Master degree, Human Resources, Finance and/or Business background
+5 years of HR/Finance/Operations experience from a mid-large
international/global organization. Previous consulting experience is a
clear advantage
Excellent skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Full proficiency in Portuguese and excellent level of written and oral in English.
Previous supervisory experience preferred
