- Managing relationships with Employee organizations & Unions ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
- Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counseling with other stakeholders.
- Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues quickly and effectively.
- Collecting and analyzing employee feedback across all levels regularly and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Coordinate the Work Visa Process for Expatriates.
- Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Drafting and reviewing policies.
- Follow up on the full payroll process and ensure that it is properly managed under the defined timelines.
- Ensure that all people related legal obligations are duly fulfilled (social security, IRT, government reports, health and safety obligations, Annual leave planning, etc.)
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and Angola labor law.
- Coordinate the annual leave planning and ensure that it is being followed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requisitos
• Bachelor's degree in HR or similar (preferably a master's degree).
• Relevant experience in an HR role.
• Experience in employee or industrial relations.
• Experience with submission of Work-visa Processes for expatriates.
• Experience in dealing with employee organizations and unions.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of Labour Law.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient in Portuguese and English languages, verbal and written.
