Mechanic

Maintenance of engine generators and reducers on Petrocraft vessels:
Diagnose breakdowns;
Recondition engines;
Oil changes;
Calibration of sensors;
Controls, checks of diesel hoses and belts;
Tests and maintenance of refrigerants and exchangers;

Reconditioning of ancillary parts:
Pumps, hydraulic actuators, electrical engines, starters, alternators;

Maintenance of Petrocraft jets:
Putting together and taking apart propulsion systems;
Control of Solenoid valves;
Putting together and taking apart hydraulic actuators;
Control and check of hydraulic hoses;

Petrocraft Hull:
Clean vessel hulls;
Control the corrosion system;
Check the waterproofing of the hull valves;
Replace parts;
Installation of life rafts;
Paintwork;

Partial maintenance of electrical systems:
Control of smoke, heat and CO2 detectors;
Control the lights, alarms, batteries;
Repair some electrical engine and generator issues;

Follow up and Upkeep of the base:
Ensure the base is kept in good condition, maintain the yard generator;
Prepare and assist with class audits Bureau Veritas / OVID;

University attendance in Mechanics;
At least 2 years’ experience in general mechanics;
Experience of lubrication;
Capacity to adapt to all situations;
Work well in a team;
Able to work offshore;
English is a plus;
