QC/QA CIVIL / MINING BACKGROUND

A QA/QC Civil & Mining Engineer ensures construction, earthworks, and infrastructure projects meet technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Key responsibilities include creating Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), conducting material testing (soil, concrete, steel), managing non-conformance, and verifying as-built drawings for infrastructure such as roads, foundations, and tailing dams

1. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Construction Mangement.
2. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Deep understanding of ASTM, ISO 9001:2015, and local building codes.
3. DOCUMENTATION SKILLS: Proficiency in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

4. SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY: Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel), and sometimes Primavera P6 are highly valued

5. SPECIFIC PREREQUISITES:
   5.1. QA/QC Civil: Knowledge of concrete mix design, soil compaction testing, reinforcement inspections, and structural surveying.
   5.2. QA/QC Mining: Understanding of geological sampling techniques, assay data management, and operational compliance in mining environments.
