Motorman

A Motorman is a mechanical crew member responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a rig or vessel’s engines, pumps, and mechanical systems. This role is technical in nature and is crucial for the smooth running of offshore drilling and production operations.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain engines, pumps, generators, and mechanical systems
Assist the engineer or Chief Engineer in routine and emergency maintenance
Inspect mechanical equipment for faults, leaks, or wear
Perform lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery
Assist in installation and commissioning of mechanical systems
Maintain logbooks and maintenance records
Support deck crew and operations teams when needed

Previous experience in mechanical, marine, or industrial maintenance
Offshore certification from OPITO (BOSIET & HUET)
Offshore medical certificate
Familiarity with offshore safety procedures and equipment
