Trade Finance Analyst

1. Letters of Credit (LCs) Management
   Prepare, review, and coordinate issuance of Import and Export LCs with banks;
   Ensure compliance with UCP 600 rules, internal policies, and bank requirements;
   Coordinate LC amendments, extensions, discrepancies resolution, and document negotiation;
   Monitor LC maturity schedules and ensure timely settlement;
   Liaise with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and banks for smooth execution;
   Track LC utilization against approved credit lines and report exposure.

2. International Transfers (Wire TT)
   Prepare and coordinate foreign currency payment instructions;
   Ensure completeness of documentation (invoices, contracts, shipping docs, BNAvapprovals);
   Follow up with banks to ensure timely execution and confirmation;
   Maintain updated tracking of all international payments.

3. Service Contracts Registration
   Manage registration of international service contracts with local banks and relevant authorities (BNA, as applicable);
   Coordinate required documentation with Legal, Procurement, and counterparties;
   Monitor contract ceilings, disbursement schedules, and regulatory validity;
   Ensure proper linkage between contract registration and FX payments execution.

4. Banking Coordination
   Act as primary operational contact with local banks;
   Follow up on pending transactions, documentation clarifications, and approvals;
   Ensure proper filing and archiving of bank confirmations and compliance documents.

5. Reporting & Monitoring
   Maintain updated tracking sheet of ctive LCs (issued, utilized, matured);
   Pending LCs;
   International transfers status;
   Registered service contracts;
   Prepare weekly exposure reports for Treasury Management.

3 – 6 years of experience in Trade Finance, Banking Operations, or Treasury;
Strong knowledge of:
Letters of Credit (UCP 600)
SWIFT payments
FX regulations in Angola
Bank compliance processes
Strong Excel skills (tracking & reporting).
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
