• Document preparation for shipping and custom, included GE-Oil & Gas Intra-company GEII – NP S.p.A. Purchase Orders & Invoices
• Participate in the Outage preparation Phase
• Participate and lead the periodic review with Customer about Supply Chain Procurement
• Invoice preparation and control
• Expediting of shipping process
• Raise Parts requests to Company, and expedite Parts procurement
• Notify Company when (i) Parts, Tools and Special Tools, are planned to be used and (ii) in the event such materials are not transferred on Site in due time
• Collaborate with Company in the performance of physical stock check every year
• Be a visible leader and advocate of EHS for all Angolan work sites for the project. Work closely with the EPC EHS Manager to develop Safety initiatives to foster best in class EHS cultures, drawing upon Jointly Funded Initiatives budgets.
• Understand and support the agreed terms and conditions and associated project/sales orders
• Execute and deliver the internal scope of work.
• Support development and assure competent (ideally National) manpower and contingent manpower to support all phases of work and risk mitigation work.
• Ensure that all necessary functions, including EHS Management and QA, are established and organized in a way that ensure an effective and safe execution of the scope of work and that all participants understand clearly the project goals.
• Support the Project Team into a dedicated and enthusiastic unit for the task.
• Understand clear roles and responsibilities within the project team, and support alignment of execution among the team members
• Establish and maintain clear lines of communication within the Project Organisation and with the Customer, the EPC team, Sub-contractors and Suppliers.
• Ensure that project schedule with milestones, manpower requirements and cost budgets are meeting GE goals and objectives
• Support, in conjunction with the designated Project Accountant, all cost control and reporting templates and reports. Continually monitor the Projects’ cost performance throughout its duration.
• Ensure that all the necessary technical and non-technical reviews and audits are planned and carried out.
• Ensure that sourcing function are able to plan vendor readiness to provide support in all areas of the project at the required time in execution.
• Be an effective local point of coordination to secure the right levels of support to meet project goals.
• Monitor the project's performance in a systematic way regarding quality, safety, progress and cost and initiate the necessary corrective/mitigating actions if deviations occur.
• Understand and support internal Variation Orders and Customer instigated Change Orders
• Provide such reporting as is required by the EPC Project Manager in order to maintain EPC reporting of progress and finance.
• Provide local support to mobilization activities for project.
• Liaison with local Service Organization to ensure testing activities are planned, resourced , budgeted and managed so as to meet project goals, both financial and schedule.
• Drive adherence to required storage, segregation and record keeping policies as required of the Luanda business in support of the Project objectives.
• Execute reporting structure so as to effectively communicate Installation and Commissioning schedule to the project team as changes occur.
• Liaison with local Service Organization to maintain focus upon in-country manning plans to service Training, Test, Installation & Commissioning schedule. Escalation of shortfalls to EPC Project Manager as appropriate.
• Act as the EPC Project Manager when required and receive Delegation Of Authority to support commercial and financial approval if required to do so.
• Develop efficient execution operating rhythm to support activities.
• Support in country logistic team by facilitating coordination of activities and team communication.
Requisitos
Required skills and experience:
• Degree in Engineering or Business discipline.
• Oil and Gas or other relevant industry experience.
• Commercial experience
• Previous experience as successful Project Team member.
• Exposure to high capital value projects in a multi-disciplined environment.
