WELDING INSPECTOR

To review and approve/reject, with comments, on WPS, PQR issued by Contractors/Suppliers. He or she is to ensure they are qualified with the Company requirements and in accordance with relevant Code of Practice;
To review any submitted Welder Qualification Test (WQT) Records and to ensure that these are in accordance with the qualified WPS and PQR;
To review and comment on Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) requirements, where applicable, to Company requirements;
To attend meeting (where required) on matter relating to welding activities;
To review and witness new welding / repair procedures and mechanical test (if required at site/yard and at ‘testing’ laboratory);
Responsible for maintaining a high degree of awareness;
Lead by doing; setting an example for others;
Observe and report any unsafe activities, conditions or situations;
If you observe anything unsafe use the ‘Stop Work’ Policy.

Angolan nationality;
Minimum 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry;
Experience working with different nationalities;
Completion of few projects;
Leading and setting an example for others;
Well-developed planning and organization skills;
Mastery of the English language;
Good communicator.
Strong coordination skills.
Few Projects Completion.
