A Aker Solutions em Abril de 2014 ganhou o projecto Kaombo em parceria com a Total, no valor de NOK 14 bilhões para a implementação do maior projecto a nível mudial de produção submarina do projecto offshore de Angola. A equipa de Subsea da Aker Solutions com sede em Luanda, é uma equipa inovadora, dinâmica e altamente competente que fornece sistemas e serviços submarinos avançados em profundidades de até 2.000 metros.
