AI Trainers (No experience necessary)

We’re looking for participants with a strong command of the English language to join Prolific as AI Trainers, helping to train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models using real-world knowledge and expertise.

No prior experience working with AI is required. All we ask is that you be fluent in English and interested in contributing to paid research studies on our platform in your free time.

If you’d like to take part, please submit your application using the link below. We’ll then add you to a waitlist, once you are verified, we will send you a short 10–15 minute skills assessment to evaluate your suitability for these tasks.

Successful applicants will be invited to join Prolific as a Participant, where you’ll be paid to support world-leading AI companies by training and assessing advanced AI systems.

Researchers may offer up to $22 per hour for completed tasks, and participants must be able to commit to at least one uninterrupted hour of work at a time. Once registered, you may also have opportunities to take part in additional studies, many of which are shorter.

What You’ll Be Doing
Please note, this is not a formal employment or career opportunity. You will be joining Prolific as an independent participant on our platform, completing tasks such as:

-Analyzing, editing, and writing comments/sentences, reviewing images
-Evaluating AI model performance and problem solving
-Providing expert feedback in English, helping to improve AI accuracy, compliance, and professional judgement

What You’ll Bring
To become an AI Trainer, you don’t need previous AI training experience; you’ll be supported throughout the process.

We’re looking for:
-A good command of the English language
-Willingness to complete a short skills verification test
-Excellent attention to detail and the ability to focus on complex tasks for up to one hour
-Reliable high-speed internet access and use of a computer
-Willingness to self-declare earnings, as participants are self-employed
-A PayPal account to receive payments

Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Essential)
-Previous experience with AI training or evaluation
-Trust & Safety or quality assurance experience
-Understanding of model evaluation (“Evals”)
-Red Teaming experience
-Knowledge of quality analytics
