To support the country QHSE Specialist in developing and sustaining a culture for Health, Safety, Environmental Management and continuous improvement throughout Angola.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities
Key Result Areas:
QHS&E Audit Conformance
Development of standard QHS&E practices at all new depot and project sites.
Identify risk assurance measures and report to key stakeholders.
Provide statistical data, in conjunction with other stakeholders and assist in preparing QHS&E key performance indicators. VAR’s, FAR’s, PPR’s near misses etc.
Support the QHSE Specialist to prepare and present reports for tender proposals and post award where necessary.
Liaise with the country QHSE Specialist to conduct QHSE audits at locations within Angola and ensure actions from QHSE audits are closed in a timely and effective manner with key stakeholders.
Promote and adhere to Aggreko’s Best Operating Practices.
Actively participate in Orange Excellence initiatives.
Assist in the rollout of Waste management as required.
Provide QHSE induction to new starters, existing employees and visitors.
Assist in accident/incident investigation, when required.
Ensure all notice boards and documentation etc. in all depots is up to date.
Organize annual Health checks for employees.
Immediately advise the QHSE Specialist/Site supervisor/AOM of any serious injury or major fuel spill in excess of 100 liter.
Ensure all depot sites and projects are completing weekly safety meetings with signed evidence.
Ensure electrical tagging is completed in line with local legislation.
Assist the QHS&E Specialist with training plans.
Assist in the rollout of Global QHS&E initiatives as required.

Person Specification/Job Requirements:
Comply with all company policies and procedures. Manual handling techniques practice safe work habits following Aggreko Health, Safety and Environment policies, wear PPE clothing provided.
Take a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment.
Participation and involvement with the team.
Desired Skills:
Possess certificated course in QHSE function
Able to travel at short notice on a regular basis within Angola.
Computer literate, experience with spreadsheet and database applications.
Good communication skills.
English language fluency is a preference (written and oral).
Ability to communicate well across different cultures and nationalities.
Able to work long hours under pressure, with minimum supervision.
Effective well organized and methodical
Possess a current valid driver’s License.
